Purchases and refunds

  • Purchases. Hourfolio, GAINZ, Cutsuite, Daystamp and Poolsight are free to download, with optional in-app purchases. None shows ads. Each app’s section below explains what its upgrade includes.
  • Requirements. Hourfolio, Daystamp and Poolsight require iOS 26 or later, and GAINZ iOS 26.2 or later. Cutsuite runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 26 or later. The Apple Watch companions for Hourfolio, GAINZ and Poolsight require watchOS 26 or later and a paired iPhone. Hourfolio for Android requires Android 8.0 or later; its Wear OS app requires Wear OS 3 or later and a paired Android phone with Hourfolio.
  • Reinstalling. Download an app again with the Apple Account that bought it, then use Restore Purchase in the app. On Android, install Hourfolio from Google Play with the Google account that bought Premium and tap Restore on the Premium screen. Save a work-record backup before deleting Hourfolio.
  • Refunds. App Store purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account. Hourfolio purchases on Android are handled by Google Play; see Google Play’s refund help.

Cutsuite

Cutsuite is a video editor for iPhone and iPad, built for touch. Projects and media stay on your device.

What is free, and what does Cutsuite Pro add?

Free includes the full editor with three video and three audio tracks, basic colour and looks, titles, effects, transitions and 1080p H.264 export with no watermark. Pro adds 4K, HEVC, HDR and ProRes export, pro colour (curves, wheels, selective colour, vignette and scopes), unlimited tracks and the mixer, captions from speech and caption files, and files for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and Resolve. You can try Pro tools freely; exporting an edit that uses them asks for Pro.

How do I restore Pro on a new device?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account that bought Pro, open Cutsuite’s Settings (the gear on the Projects screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Subscriptions are managed in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

How do I bring in clips?

In a project, tap + and choose Photos or Files. Cutsuite copies what you pick into the project, so the edit keeps working if the original moves. iPhone HDR footage is supported; choose HDR in Edit Settings (the gear in the editor) to keep it HDR when you export.

Why can’t I transcribe captions?

Transcription runs on your device and needs a device and language that Apple’s speech recognition supports. The first time you use a language, iOS may need a connection to download it. You can always add captions by hand or import a caption file (SRT, WebVTT and others).

Which keyboard shortcuts are there?

With a hardware keyboard, hold ⌘ to see them all. Space plays and pauses, J K L shuttle backwards, stop and forwards, the arrow keys step frames and cuts, Q and W trim to the playhead, ⌘B splits and ⌘1, ⌘2 and ⌘3 switch between the Edit, Color and Audio workspaces.

Something went wrong. How do I report it?

Email support@ebsm.app with your device, iOS version and Cutsuite version (shown at the bottom of Settings) and what you were doing. A short sample clip helps if a file won’t import or play.

Hourfolio

Hourfolio tracks work hours and estimates gross pay on iPhone and Android. Its Apple Watch and Wear OS companions show shift status and a weekly summary. Work records stay on your devices.

What is free, and what does Premium unlock?

Premium is offered as Premium Yearly, a yearly subscription that renews automatically, or Lifetime, a one-time purchase with no renewal. Both include the same features.

On iPhone, free includes one job, unlimited history, manual and live tracking, breaks, overtime, the weekly timesheet, report totals, CSV export, PDF previews, local backups and shift status on Apple Watch. Premium adds unlimited jobs, pay-period and custom reports, Paycheck check, night, weekend and holiday pay with a take-home estimate, iCloud Sync, PDF timesheets and invoices with your logo and colors, Live Activities, widgets, Siri and Control Center, Apple Watch clock controls, shift templates, batch shift copying and worksite reminders.

On Android, free includes one job, unlimited history, clock in and out, breaks, overtime, the weekly timesheet, report totals, CSV export, PDF previews, backups and shift status on a Wear OS watch. Premium adds unlimited jobs, pay-period and custom reports, Paycheck check, night, weekend and holiday pay with a take-home estimate, PDF timesheets and invoices with your logo and colors, the shift notification, the Work Clock widget, the Quick Settings tile, app shortcuts, Wear OS clock controls, shift templates and batch shift copying.

How do I restore Premium on iPhone?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for the purchase, open Settings › See Premium Plans in Hourfolio and tap Restore. You need a connection to Apple and the purchase service to restore. If it still does not appear, email support@ebsm.app with the app version and a description of the problem. Never send card details or account passwords.

How do I protect or move my work records?

In Settings, choose Prepare Backup, then Save or Share Backup and save the file outside Hourfolio. On the destination iPhone, choose Restore from Files and review the backup before restoring.

With Premium on iPhone, you can also turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings › iCloud Sync. It is off until you turn it on, and keeps your records the same on your iPhone, iPad and Mac signed in to your Apple Account, in your private iCloud. Hourfolio for Android has no sync; Android’s device backup includes your records according to your Google backup settings, and a backup file moves them to another phone. Deleting the app can remove local records, so save a backup first.

How do I manage or cancel Premium Yearly on iPhone?

Open Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions on your iPhone and choose Hourfolio, or tap Manage Subscription in Hourfolio’s Settings › Purchase Details. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, or before a free trial ends to avoid being charged. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Apple handles refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I manage or cancel Premium Yearly on Android?

Open Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions and choose Hourfolio, or tap Manage Subscription on Hourfolio’s Premium screen. Cancel before a free trial ends to avoid being charged. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.

How do I restore Premium on Android?

Make sure Google Play is signed in to the Google account that bought Premium, open Settings › See Premium Plans and tap Restore. Purchases from the App Store and Google Play are separate and do not carry over between iPhone and Android. If Premium still does not appear, email support@ebsm.app with the app version. Never send card details or account passwords.

Can I move my records from iPhone to Android?

Yes. On your iPhone, save a backup file and copy it to your Android phone, for example through Google Drive or email. On Android, open Settings › Your records › Restore from Files, choose the file and review it before restoring. Restoring replaces the records on the phone, and Hourfolio keeps a copy of the previous records first. Premium purchases do not move between platforms.

Why does estimated pay differ from my payslip?

Hourfolio estimates gross pay from the hours, rates, breaks and overtime rules you enter. Check those settings and the report period. It does not calculate tax, deductions or every employer-specific payroll rule.

Why are Watch controls or widgets unavailable?

Widgets, Live Activities and Apple Watch clock controls require Premium. Watch clock actions also need a reachable paired iPhone; disconnected actions are not queued. Live Activities need iPhone system permission and must be enabled in Hourfolio’s Settings › Widgets & Apple Watch. iOS can end a Live Activity independently of the shift, which continues recording in Hourfolio.

On Android, the shift notification, widget controls, Quick Settings tile and Wear OS clock controls require Premium, and the shift notification needs notification permission. Install Hourfolio on the watch from Google Play on the watch. Wear OS clock actions need your phone in reach; an action that can’t reach the phone isn’t saved.

Do I need location permission to track my hours?

No. Manual tracking works without location permission, and Hourfolio for Android never asks for location. On iPhone, Premium worksite reminders are optional, require location and notification permission, and do not automatically clock you in or out. Read Hourfolio’s privacy section for details.

GAINZ

Workout logging and a lifter community for iPhone. For help with your account or a community concern, email support@ebsm.app.

How do I verify my email?

Open Settings → Account → Verify email, request a code and enter the eight digits from your email. The newest code lasts 15 minutes and can be used once. Check spam and wait one minute before requesting another; you can request three per hour. Workouts remain available while your email is unverified. A successful emailed password reset also confirms ownership. Never send a code or password to support.

I forgot my email-account password.

Open I have an account → Continue with email → Forgot password. Enter your email, then the eight-digit code sent to that address and a new password. The code expires after 15 minutes. Check spam if it does not arrive, and wait before requesting another. Resetting ends existing sign-ins; sign in again with the new password. Apple accounts use Continue with Apple.

How do I report content or block a lifter?

Open the options menu on a post, comment or lifter profile. Choose Report, select a reason and send it, or choose Block. Manage blocks in Settings → Blocked lifters. Unblocking does not restore follows. You can also send a community concern to support@ebsm.app.

What will I get back on a new phone?

Sign in to the same saved account to restore your profile, synced workout history, plans, custom exercises and dated weigh-ins. Changes that have not synced still need the original phone and a connection; check the app’s sync status before switching accounts. A guest account has no email recovery until saved. Plan or custom exercise conflicts let you choose the phone or cloud version.

How do nearby gyms and check-ins work?

Open Feed → Gyms and check-ins. Search by name, or choose Find nearby gyms for a one-time location search and Apple Maps results. A check-in shows you in that gym’s lifting crew for two hours, until you check out, or until you check in elsewhere. Sharing a feed post is optional. Use the gym screen’s report action for an inaccurate or inappropriate listing.

Can I share a PR or streak?

After finishing a workout, choose Post to the feed and Highlight a personal record when a completed PR is available. Your profile offers Share your week streak when you have a streak of two or more workouts per week. GAINZ checks synced history before posting; a streak post can be shared once per week. You can delete your own posts from their cards.

How do crew challenges work?

Open Feed → Challenges or Profile → Challenges. Create a goal and share its invite code, or preview a code someone sent you before joining. Standings use synced finished workouts within the challenge dates; Only me workouts are excluded. Days use UTC. The creator can replace an invite code or delete the challenge. Other members can report or leave it from the challenge screen.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. This removes your server account and linked records and clears GAINZ data on this phone. Deleting the app alone does not delete the server account. An Apple subscription is managed separately; deleting your GAINZ account does not cancel renewal. Read the GAINZ privacy section for retention and deletion details.

How do I use GAINZ on Apple Watch?

Use watchOS 26 or later and a paired iPhone. Start a workout on your phone, then open GAINZ on your Watch to see the current set and rest timer. Adjust weight/reps or a completed hold, choose Log set, or Skip rest. Each action needs a reachable iPhone and confirmation; disconnected actions are not queued. Choose Refresh after an unconfirmed action. Start/finish workouts and log functional rounds on the phone. Settings → Apple Watch on the phone shows connection and installation status.

What is GAINZ Pro, and how do I restore it?

Pro unlocks strength trends and advanced training insights. Logging, plans, PR lists, social features and the Watch companion stay free. Open Profile → Strength insights or Settings → Explore Pro for the annual plan and Apple’s current localized price. Choose Restore purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. This restores active paid access, while signing in to your saved GAINZ account restores workout data. Manage renewal from the Pro screen or Apple’s subscription settings. An unavailable offer can be retried with Load yearly plan; a pending purchase unlocks after Apple approves it.

Rest alerts or Lock Screen controls are not working.

Check Settings → Rest alerts in GAINZ and the app’s notification and Live Activity permissions in iPhone Settings. Include your iPhone model, iOS version and GAINZ version when contacting support. Never send a password or recovery code.

Daystamp

Daystamp counts the days you spend in each country and state for tax and immigration rules, on iPhone with widgets and a Live Activity. Your record stays on your iPhone and, if you choose, in your iCloud. Daystamp is a record-keeping tool, not legal or tax advice.

What is free, and what does Lifetime unlock?

Free logs every day in every place and shows one rule. The 30-day trial is a free purchase that unlocks every feature, including Proof Locker, with no charge and nothing to cancel. Lifetime is one purchase, not a subscription, that unlocks every rule, PDF and CSV reports, alerts and the trip planner. Lifetime Family is the same unlock, shared through Family Sharing. Proof Locker is a separate one-time add-on; documents you added during the trial stay viewable without it.

How do I restore a purchase or ask for a refund?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account that made the purchase, then tap Restore Purchase in Daystamp’s Settings or on the unlock screen. Family members get Lifetime Family through Family Sharing. To ask Apple for a refund, tap Request a refund in Settings or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

Why does Daystamp ask for Always location access?

With Always access, iOS wakes Daystamp when you arrive somewhere or move a significant distance, so days are recorded while the app is closed. Only the country or state is saved, never coordinates. With While Using only, days are recorded while Daystamp is open. You can also count by hand: Settings › Days are counted › By hand, then add trips with +. Change access in iPhone Settings › Daystamp › Location. Read Daystamp’s privacy section for details.

A day is missing or wrong. How do I fix it?

Days Daystamp couldn’t record appear in Review days; they’re never filled in silently. Tap a day in the calendar to set where you were, or add a trip with +. Every change is kept in the edit history and shown in reports. With the evening check on (Settings › Alerts), Daystamp asks “Where were you today?” at 21:00 on any day with no record. Tracking health in Settings shows whether location access, Precise Location, Background App Refresh and Low Power Mode are set up for automatic counting.

Can I add days from before I installed Daystamp?

Yes. In Settings › Data, choose Import history for a Google Maps Timeline export (in Google Maps: your profile › Your Timeline › ⋯ › Location and privacy › Export Timeline data) or a CSV from another tracker, or Fill missed days from Photos. You see a preview before anything is written, only days with no record are filled, and filled days are labelled in the calendar and in reports. Files and photos are read on your iPhone.

How does Daystamp count a day?

For most rules, any part of a day in a place counts as a day there, so a travel day can count for two places. The UK statutory residence test counts midnights instead. Each rule’s screen explains how it counts and what can be left out, such as days only passing through. Choose whether days with no record count against your limits in Settings › Unknown days.

How do I give my records to an adviser?

Open Reports to create a PDF that lists every day with its source and attached proof, with a SHA-256 hash chain that makes later changes evident, or export a CSV of the daily record. Reports also lay out N-400 trips and Schengen stays. Border mode shows your Schengen count full screen for passport control.

How do I move Daystamp to a new iPhone?

Keep Sync with iCloud on (Settings › Data) and sign in to the same Apple Account on the new iPhone. Your days, trips, rules and documents come back from your private iCloud. Without iCloud sync, your record moves with an iPhone backup.

Daystamp says it can’t open my days.

Your record is still on your iPhone. Tap Try again, then Try again without iCloud sync. If it keeps happening, tap Send a copy of my data and email it to support@ebsm.app before choosing Start fresh, so we can help recover it.

Poolsight

Poolsight tells you what your pool or hot tub needs, on iPhone and Apple Watch with widgets and Live Activities. Your records stay on your iPhone and in your iCloud, with no account. Poolsight gives general guidance, not professional advice: always follow your product labels. In an emergency, call your local emergency number or poison information centre.

What is free, and what does Pro unlock?

Free includes full dosing for one pool or spa, drop kits and manual entry, three strip scans, and every safety feature: the checklist before each treatment, locked steps, the “Don’t swim” status and the emergency screen. Safety is never part of Pro. Pro adds the chlorine forecast and evening reminder, unlimited strip scans, more pools and spas, green-pool rescue, pool shop printout scanning, supply insights, full history, widgets, measuring volume with the camera, sharing a pool with your household, and the full Apple Watch app. Pro Yearly starts with a 7-day free trial. Pro Lifetime is one purchase, not a subscription, and is shared through Family Sharing.

How do I restore a purchase or ask for a refund?

Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account that made the purchase, open Settings › Poolsight Pro and tap Restore. To cancel the yearly subscription, go to iPhone Settings › your name › Subscriptions. To ask Apple for a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I get accurate strip readings?

Set up your bottle’s colour chart once in Settings › Test kits, so scans are matched to your own strips under your own light. Scan in even light, out of harsh sun, and keep the strip in the frame until Poolsight finishes reading. When a colour sits between two swatches, Poolsight shows a range instead of guessing. If a result looks wrong, test again with a drop kit or enter the numbers by hand.

Why does Poolsight ask for my location?

Only for your local weather, so the chlorine forecast can tell you the evening before your pool needs chlorine. Poolsight asks for approximate location while you use the app and rounds it to about 10 km. Without it, the forecast uses an estimate. Change access in iPhone Settings › Poolsight › Location. Read Poolsight’s privacy section for details.

How do I share a pool with my household?

Open the pool in Settings and choose Sharing to invite people through iCloud. Everyone sees the same tests, treatments and “Don’t swim” status. Joining a pool someone shared with you is free and doesn’t use your free pool. The owner can stop sharing, and anyone invited can leave, from the same screen.

How do I move Poolsight to a new iPhone?

Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on the new iPhone and install Poolsight. Your pools, tests and settings come back from your private iCloud. Pro returns with Restore.
