App licence

EBSM makes Crown Stack, Dial Lock, Rep Run, Hourfolio and GAINZ. Apps distributed through the App Store use Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement unless a custom licence is supplied for that app. Apple’s licence applies to apps you get from the App Store. Hourfolio for Android is distributed through Google Play, and your use of Google Play and your Google Play purchases are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service. This page explains our app features and purchases; it does not replace Apple’s licence or Google Play’s terms or limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.

ebsm.app provides information about our apps and ways to get support. App names, designs and content belong to EBSM or their respective owners.

Purchases and refunds

Apple processes App Store payments under its Media Services Terms and Conditions. The store shows the localized price before you confirm a purchase. EBSM does not receive your card details.

On Android, Google processes Hourfolio purchases through Google Play under the Google Play Terms of Service, shows the localized price before you confirm, and charges your Google account’s payment method. EBSM does not receive your card details.

Crown Stack, Dial Lock and Rep Run are purchased upfront. Hourfolio is free to use with optional Premium: an auto-renewing yearly subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Crown Stack, Dial Lock and Rep Run have no subscription.

To request an App Store refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple handles refund decisions. For Hourfolio purchases on Android, Google Play handles refunds under its refund policies. Paid access may be removed when Apple or Google reports a refund or purchase revocation.

Hourfolio Premium

Hourfolio is free to use. Premium is offered as Premium Yearly, an auto-renewing yearly subscription, or Lifetime, a one-time, non-consumable purchase. Both unlock the same features. Lifetime has no scheduled expiry and does not renew automatically. Premium Yearly renews automatically at the price shown before purchase until you cancel it. If an offer includes a free trial for eligible new subscribers, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. After you cancel, Premium stays on until the end of the period you paid for.

On iPhone

Premium unlocks unlimited jobs, pay-period and custom reports, Paycheck check, night, weekend and holiday pay with a take-home estimate, iCloud Sync, PDF timesheets and invoices with your logo and colors, Live Activities, widgets, Siri and Control Center, Apple Watch clock controls, shift templates, batch shift copying and worksite reminders. The free tier includes one job, unlimited history, manual and live tracking, breaks, overtime, the weekly timesheet, report totals, CSV export, PDF previews, local backups and Apple Watch status.

iPhone purchases are made with your Apple Account. Manage or cancel Premium Yearly in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal, or before the trial ends to avoid being charged. To restore Premium, use the Apple Account that made the purchase, open Settings › See Premium Plans in Hourfolio and tap Restore. Apple handles refunds.

On Android

Premium unlocks unlimited jobs, pay-period and custom reports, Paycheck check, night, weekend and holiday pay with a take-home estimate, PDF timesheets and invoices with your logo and colors, the shift notification, the widget, the Quick Settings tile, app shortcuts, Wear OS clock controls, shift templates and batch shift copying. The free tier includes one job, unlimited history, clock in and out, breaks, overtime, the weekly timesheet, report totals, CSV export, PDF previews, backups and Wear OS status.

Android purchases are made with your Google account through Google Play. Manage or cancel Premium Yearly in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions, before the trial ends to avoid being charged. Premium belongs to the Google account that bought it: sign in to Google Play with that account, open Settings › See Premium Plans in Hourfolio and tap Restore. Google Play handles refunds.

App Store and Google Play purchases are separate and do not carry over between iPhone and Android. Restoration requires a connection to the store and the purchase service. Restoring paid access does not restore work records; use your saved backup for those.

GAINZ

GAINZ provides workout logging, strength estimates and a lifter community. Keep your saved account credentials private; guest accounts cannot be recovered by email until saved as an email account.

Optional GAINZ Pro

GAINZ Pro unlocks strength trends and advanced training insights. Workout logging, plans, PR lists, social features and the Watch companion remain free. The app displays the available annual subscription and localized price supplied by Apple before purchase. Apple handles payment through your Apple Account. The subscription renews automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel renewal in Apple’s subscription settings or through Manage subscription in GAINZ.

Use Restore purchases on the Pro screen with the Apple Account that purchased the subscription to restore active paid access. Your workout data restores separately by signing in to the same saved GAINZ account. Signing out or deleting a GAINZ account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Apple’s standard app licence and applicable purchase terms also apply.

Community rules

By posting, commenting or adding a gym, you agree to the community rules shown in GAINZ. Do not post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit material, spam, another person’s private information or content you do not have permission to share. Add public gym locations rather than private home addresses. You retain ownership of your content and allow EBSM to store it, show it to your chosen audience and review it when necessary to operate and moderate the service.

Use the options menu on a post, comment or lifter profile to report content or block a lifter. A lifter profile also offers a separate report action for its uploaded photo. Blocking hides content between the accounts and removes follows in both directions. Unblocking does not restore those follows. We review reports and may remove content or suspend social access when the rules are broken. Contact support@ebsm.app about a concern or moderation decision.

Your workouts and account

Strength and training figures are estimates based on your entries, not medical advice. Check your entries before relying on them. Workout history, plans and custom exercise definitions sync to your account. Offline changes may wait for a connection; use the sync status in the app to check that they are saved before switching accounts or signing out. Resolve plan and custom exercise conflicts by choosing the phone or synced version.

You can delete your account in Settings → Account. The GAINZ privacy section explains server storage, sharing, retention and deletion. Service availability depends on network and hosting services.

Gym search can use a one-time location with your permission, or a typed name. Gym presence is based on voluntary check-ins and expires after two hours; it is not a guarantee that someone is physically present. You can check out sooner. Report an inaccurate or inappropriate gym from its gym screen.

Work records and estimates

Hourfolio estimates gross pay using the hours, rates, breaks and overtime rules you enter. Check the entries and calculations before using an exported report. It does not calculate tax, deductions or every employer-specific payroll rule, and a displayed estimate may differ from your payslip.

Your work records are stored locally. Keep backups outside Hourfolio before deleting the app, changing devices or deleting records. Hourfolio does not provide a cloud account. Optional iCloud Sync on iPhone uses your own iCloud; it is not available on Android. Reports and backups you choose to share are handled by the recipient or storage provider.

Device features and services

Hourfolio’s core tracking works offline. Loading a new purchase offer, purchasing and restoring may need a network connection. Apple Watch clock controls require Premium and a reachable paired iPhone, and Wear OS clock controls require Premium and a reachable paired Android phone; disconnected actions are not queued as completed work.

Location and notification reminders are optional and depend on permissions and system behavior. They do not automatically clock you in or out. iOS can end or hide a Live Activity independently of shift recording, Android can hide or delay notifications according to your notification settings, and widgets may refresh on a system-managed schedule.

Cutsuite Pro

Cutsuite is free to use with three video and three audio tracks, basic colour correction and looks, titles, effects, transitions and 1080p H.264 export without a watermark. Cutsuite Pro adds 4K, HEVC, HDR and ProRes export, curves, colour wheels, selective colour, vignette and scopes, unlimited tracks and the mixer, captions from speech and caption files, and hand-off files for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. You can try Pro tools in an edit; exporting an edit that uses them requires Pro.

Pro is offered as an auto-renewing yearly or monthly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and are charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends; manage or cancel them in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. If an offer includes a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Lifetime does not expire or renew.

To restore Pro on another iPhone or iPad, sign in with the same Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases in Cutsuite’s Settings or on the Pro screen. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Your videos

You keep all rights to the videos you make. Make sure you have the rights to the media, music and fonts you use and share. Projects are stored on your device; keep copies of important exports elsewhere before deleting a project or the app.

Open source

Cutsuite’s editing engine is built on FilmCraft, open-source software under the MIT and Apache 2.0 licences. The licences of FilmCraft and the other open-source components are listed in the app under Settings › Acknowledgements. FilmCraft and ArtCraft are their owners’ trademarks; Cutsuite is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes each app’s data handling. Hourfolio keeps work records on your devices, uses Adapty for purchase processing and paywall analytics, and uses PostHog for usage analytics that you can turn off. See the Hourfolio section for data categories and controls.
